Baffling Appliance

Below is the instrument panel for the washing machine in my apartment. If anyone can decipher the meaning of these various symbols and cycle options, I am all ears.

  1. I think this may be your rice cooker, not your washing machine.....

  3. I think the message is: Work within the local economy and HIRE someone to do your laundry?? And just think of the fun you could have talking with the local person working with you!

  4. Send one over for analysis. Is there a patent?

  5. Don't feel bad about not know how to handle this appliance because this summer when I stayed in my sister's house, I saw the same size machine stored in her kitchen. I immediately knew that was the washing machine; I gussed. I tried to open it but never succeed no matter I hit each button. Finally, I had to ask her housekeeper, she said that was the washer/dryer combination appliance. I have to select the washer or dryer than hit the open button. This was brand new for me.
